| I have to carry around 20lbs (use to use a little cart but thats cumbersum) and this fits the bill. It is rugged and very durable so far. I don't need all the belts and straps but it's nice to know they are there. Keeps well in all kinds of weather also. |

| It's a great bag. I'm in college and I use it for school; haven't had a chance to hike with it yet. You can slip a macbook case into this little pouch built for a camelbak and the straps are great at weight distribution. It makes carrying all my science textbooks so much easier. |
Fantastic 3 day emergency pack

I did a great deal of research when building my home emergency kits, specifically on the realm of backpacks. I was looking for a backpack that was light, comfortable, had good load bearing support, lots of external hookups, and the ability to carry a great deal of water.
This pack met those expectations. It's very solidly built for a 2lb backpack; the rugged construction goes a long way towards credibility for me. I found the packs met my expectations and more when I discovered a place for a radio, the bright orange interior (which can be used for signalling), a checklist inside, a plastic interior (helps for water resistance and cleaning up spills) and other very nice features. I couldn't be happier with the pack - it's exactly what I was looking for - even with 30+lbs of gear in it, it is very easy to manage. |
